With Autumn in the air and Halloween just around the corner, I’m always looking for cute, new decorations and ideas. I have the previous two felt holiday crafting books by the authors of Felt-o-ween, so I was very excited to see this new edition. The projects are really focused on items that would be fun for kids, I like that none of the projects are creepy or gross.

I’ve already worked on two of the projects, the felted acorns and the Day of the Dead t-shirt for my daughter. The acorns were simple to make and look great in a wooden bowl in my entryway. The shirt required a bit of sewing and cutting out the felt, but I’m familiar with the blanket stitch it uses, so it came together very quickly. My next project from Felt-o-ween will be the adorable punkin treat pouches, which I plan on tucking treats into and giving out to my children’s friends, so cute!
